Compounding 4 Vet is a trading name of Optimum Care Pharmacy Services Pty Ltd (ABN 57 630 546 584), a pharmacy registered in New South Wales and located at 5/105A Vanessa Street, Kingsgrove NSW 2208. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Optimum Care Pharmacy Services Pty Ltd trading as Compounding 4 Vet.

These Terms apply when you use our website, place an order with us, or otherwise use our services. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery page and Returns & Refunds page, which form part of these Terms.

2. Who We Supply

We supply compounded veterinary medicines to registered veterinary practices and registered veterinarians. We do not supply medicines directly to the general public, and we do not supply human medicines.

Pricing information is supplied only to a licensed practitioner, or to individuals acting under the instruction of a licensed practitioner. Access to our ordering portal requires a verified veterinary practice account.

3. Prescriptions

We supply medications only on a valid prescription or written order issued under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966 (NSW) and the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008 (NSW).

Any material published on this website constitutes an invitation to treat. It does not constitute an offer to sell or otherwise supply any medication. Any offer to purchase a listed medication will not be entertained unless accompanied by a compliant prescription. Although acting under the instructions of a practitioner for the preparation of extemporaneous products, we may accept or reject any such offer to supply and sell at our absolute discretion.

The selection of ingredients, dosing and instructions for use remain the sole discretion and responsibility of the prescribing practitioner.

4. Nature of the Products and Information on This Website

Any documentation supplied by us is educational and informative and is for the use of licensed practitioners. It must not be recirculated. It remains the property of the practitioner to whom it has been supplied. If you are not a licensed practitioner, you must immediately destroy that document.

Any information provided about pharmaceutical extemporaneous combinations is not intended as a comprehensive guide outlining all available combinations provided by our extemporaneous compounding service.

Any combinations of extemporaneous products and pharmaceutical ingredients are provided for informative purposes, outlining regularly requested combinations. They are not veterinary chemical products or active constituents for the purposes of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994 (Cth). Nor are they products for the purposes of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth). Any combinations of pharmaceutical ingredients or extemporaneous pharmaceutical products are prepared only by, or under the supervision of, a pharmacist, following receipt of a valid instruction or prescription from a registered practitioner.

The information contained on this website is intended only as an informative guide. Where it provides costing, it outlines the costs associated with combining pharmaceutical ingredients to produce an extemporaneous product suitable for use in the species to which it applies.

Where finished presentations are shown, they are informative only. They do not refer to any individual particular chemical product or particular active constituents. Similarly, they do not propose, or give notice of an intention to make use of, any active constituents, or to prepare any pharmaceutical products or veterinary chemical products, without suitable authority from the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

5. Pricing and Payment

All transactions are conducted in Australian dollars. Prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Postage and shipping are additional and are shown before you confirm your order.

Price information is subject to change without notice.

Payment is required in accordance with the terms of your account with us. Where credit terms have been agreed, invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice.

6. Payment Security

Card payments are processed through third-party payment providers using secure, encrypted connections. Our payment providers maintain PCI-DSS compliance.

Full card numbers are not stored on our systems and are not retained by us after processing.

7. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

Accounts are issued to veterinary practices and registered veterinarians. You must not share account access with any person who is not authorised by your practice.

8. Privacy

We may ask for certain information about you, your practice, or the animal patients for whom medicines are prescribed, including information relevant to payment and to the animal's condition. We may retain that information to provide our services to you.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and in our capacity as health care professionals. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.

We do not sell or rent personal information to any party. We share personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy, including with our payment providers, delivery providers, contracted service providers and, where required or authorised by law, with regulatory authorities.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Our delivery timeframes, shipping methods, charges and tracking arrangements are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page, which forms part of these Terms.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our change of mind position, and the process for returning damaged, defective or incorrect products are set out on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that applies under the Australian Consumer Law and cannot lawfully be excluded.
